This carb is fitted to the vehicles listed below.

Window (40) install with the dot to the inside of fuel bowl.

Throttle body gasket (60) where insulator block is not used only one gasket is needed.

Base mixture screw adjustment, turn needle (63) in until lightly seated then back off 2 turns.

When your engine starts to get very thirsty, one of the problems may be the power valve piston (26). It could be a worn body or piston. An easy solution is to weaken the spring (27). You must have a vacuum pump with gauge to set the power valve correctly. With the PV installed, create vacuum at the vacuum port to the piston so that the piston is raised. Measure the vacuum required to raise the piston. Ideally for good economy 8"Hg will suffice.
